  • NMSU breaks ground on future Pete V. Domenici Hall
    April 12, 2013 - New Mexico State University held a ceremony to officially break ground on a construction project that will transform the Hershel Zohn Theater into Pete V. Domenici Hall. Construction work will begin later this month and conclude in fall 2014.
  • NMSU's Domenici Institute seeking student panelists for 2013 conference
    Feb. 18, 2013 - New Mexico State University's Domenici Institute is now accepting nominations from faculty and administrators of universities across the state for students to participate in the 2013 Domenici Public Policy Conference. The conference takes place Sept. 18-19 and nominations are due by April 30.
  • Domenici Conference student panelists selected
    July 17, 2012 - Twenty university students from across the state have been chosen to take part in the 2012 Domenici Public Policy Conference, Sept. 19 and 20 at the Las Cruces Convention Center. The specially selected students from New Mexico State University, the University of New Mexico and Northern New Mexico College will be the only audience members allowed to ask questions of the various presenters at the Domenici Conference.

    July 14, 2011 - The latest installment in the award-winning "Senator Pete Domenici's Legacy" book series is now on store shelves. The book chronicles the proceedings from the 2010 Pete V. Domenici Public Policy Conference, which took place at New Mexico State University's Corbett Center. This year's "Senator Pete Domenici's Legacy" offers transcripts of presentations made by every speaker at the 2010 conference.
  • NMSU's Domenici books honored at 2010 New Mexico Book Awards
    Jan. 27, 2011 - "Not Just New Mexico's Senator," written by Martin J. Janowski, won best political book at the 2010 New Mexico Book Awards. "Senator Pete Domenici's Legacy; The Proceedings from the 2009 Pete V. Domenici Public Policy Conference," edited by Vicki Taggart, was a finalist in the same category. Both books were published in collaboration with Rio Grande Books and New Mexico State University's Domenici Institute.

    July 16, 2010 - Fox News contributor Karl Rove, political analyst and commentator Joe Lockhart and ABC News contributor Sam Donaldson are just a few of the speakers scheduled for the 2010 Domenici Public Policy Conference. They will join Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchison, former Sen. Sam Nunn, Kansas City Federal Reserve Bank President Thomas Hoenig and other guests Sept. 1-2 at New Mexico State University's Corbett Center.

    Feb. 21, 2008 - New Mexico State University honored U.S. Sen. Pete Domenici by "retiring" a Domenici baseball jersey during halftime of the NMSU men's basketball game Saturday, Feb. 23, at the Pan American Center.
  • NMSU Library Begins to Process Domenici Archives
    Jan. 31, 2008 - Nearly 2,000 boxes filled with documents and memorabilia chronicling the legacy of U.S. Senator Pete V. Domenici are now housed in the New Mexico State University Library. Additional boxes are expected to arrive at NMSU later this year as the university works to build the Domenici Archive collection.
